It’s funny what happens when checking translations. Suddenly meanings head in completely different directions.
Take, for example, the last postcard image I posted: The Sacrifice of a Sacred Tree.
The first version of the title (written in Finnish) actually means: The Sacred Tree’s Last Day.
Knowing this prompts a completely different reaction:
Poor thing! And why are those crazy looking men in suits sitting on it?
